heyllo my name is anthony . i have tried numerous options to getting dreads from  braidlocs to twist and rip to gel twists and the all failed due to the amount of activity in my live and the texture of my hair for sure is a bug part of it. my first attempt was gel twists which is wat most youtube videos  say to use. and trust me i have done my share of research and everyone from dreadhd and notty boy to drealock forums has their own oppinion on things  that are healthy and why not to use this method.  I have come to the finalization that its ur hair do with it as u want and wat works for you. not saying that any of these sites and the people who run them are wrong or injust in their believes just saying to each their own basically. as for that this is my journey with my hair i am open to advice but not to negativity. and if it seems like alot of the first few posts are all sent on the same day its cause i have been keeping notes on my phone to  use on here. and a special thanks to holly over at   MpowerD Massage   in sterling  virgina. i met her at the herndon festival and noticed how lovely her daughters hair was and approached her at the time i had just twist and ripped my hair. she told me that she had interlocked her daughters hair and had no problems with it. so i went for it and a day or two later i was at her house getting my hair inter locked
